Players spin around a bat or stick with their forehead touching it, then try to run to the finish line. Hilarious and disorienting!
A bat, stick, or broom for each lane
Set up a straight course with a start/finish line and a cone or bat position about 20 feet away.
Place a bat or stick standing upright at the far point.
On "Go!", the player runs to the bat and places their forehead on the top of the bat.
Spin around the bat 10 times while keeping forehead contact.
After 10 spins, run (stumble) back to the start/finish line.
First player to cross the finish line wins their heat!
Do this on soft grass — people WILL fall down!
Have spotters along the course for safety.
This is a spectator sport — have non-participants watch and cheer.
Relay Version: Teams send one player at a time in a relay format.
Obstacle Version: Add cones to weave through after spinning.
Players sit in a circle with one less chair than people. The person in the middle calls out a characteristic, and everyone matching it must find a new seat.
Players take turns picking up a paper bag from the ground using only their teeth. After each round, the bag gets shorter!
Players stand in a circle holding hands. On "go," everyone tries to tag the person to their right while avoiding being tagged by the person to their left.
